Enrique Badulescu “Collage #6”
Enrique Badulescu was born in Mexico City and studied photography in Munich before starting his career as a fashion and travel photographer in London in the late 1980s. Today he is based in New York and renowned for his passionate and energetic style. Inspired by Pop Art his work has been called “an ode to the intensity of colour” and is characterized by colourful contrasts, extravagant compositions and a dynamic feel. His expressive and experimental collages testify to his artistic talent and often give a surreal impression, like scenes or sequences from a dream. Badulescu’s work appears in magazines such as Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Visionaire, The Face, L’Officiel, Jane, D-Magazine and GQ. In 2008 he published his first book “Sueños”, a unique collection of his personal photography and collages.
